owner/operator
Chris Perez, aka “Toro (Bull),” is the owner/operator. It’s one thing to have 10 years experience, but it’s where you get the experience that matters. Trained in Whitecourt by Malbeuf Roofing, he has learned from the best in the business. He is certified by Malarkey and IKO, and trained in their latest installation best practices. Above all, it is his relentless attention to detail that ensures all roofs are done to the highest standard.
Malerie Perez

Malerie Perez, aka “Águila (Eagle),” is the backbone of operation, and keeps things running smoothly. She literally does it all! Company management, bookkeeping, marketing, and supply runs support us from behind the scenes. She’s no stranger to roofing either! When we need extra muscle on a project, she comes swooping in.
José Mario Gulck

José Mario Gulck, aka “Oso (Bear),” is in his 6th year with the company. Trained from the ground up, he has shown himself to be smarter than the average bear. His ability to learn fast and retain everything has been a real asset. Just like bears have surprising speed, Oso blazes with the nail gun.
Tanner Palm

Tanner Palm, aka “Mono Loco (crazy Monkey),” is in his 5th year with the company. Also trained from the ground up, he’s an excellent roofer. His nickname Mono aptly describes him, as there isn’t a steep roof, dormer, or tiny ledge that he’s not willing to climb on to get the job done.
Tom Hargreaves

Tom Hargreaves, aka “Yeti,” is our jobsite foreman. His 7 years of roofing experience is an incredible asset, there’s no job he can’t tackle. His attention to detail is impressive, even swimming through thorny rosebushes to pick up the last nail after a job. Interestingly, he learned from a crew who hand nailed all their shingles, and has kept that skillful tradition alive.
Even though our team has evolved over the years, the core has stayed solid, and we’ve grown close as a result. We all share the qualities of attention to detail, determination to never cut corners, and always do things properly. Like a well-oiled machine run by a bunch of savage animals, this team definitely earns the name “Maquinimàles” (Machine-animals in English).
